Interested in the relationships between art, writing, and books, Benjamin Thorel has worked on systems of independent publishing and more specifically on the editorial practices of contemporary artists. Drawing on Martin Beck’s publications and those of artists in the collection, Thorel invites us to discover publishing as a specific field of labor where the questions of productions, research, and public take on new dimensions.
