Int\u00e9ress\u00e9 par les relations entre art, \u00e9criture et livre, Benjamin Thorel travaille sur les syst\u00e8mes de publication ind\u00e9pendants et plus particuli\u00e8rement sur les pratiques \u00e9ditoriales d\u2019artistes contemporains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u2019appuyant sur les \u00e9ditions de Martin Beck et celles d\u2019artistes de la collection, il nous invite \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir la publication comme un champ de travail sp\u00e9cifique o\u00f9 les questions de production, de recherche, de public, prennent de nouvelles dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benjamin Thorel est \u00e9diteur, critique d\u2019art et commissaire d\u2019exposition. Il est l\u2019un des fondateurs de Castillo\/Corrales, espace ind\u00e9pendant cr\u00e9\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris en 2007, qui comprenait \u00e9galement une librairie et une maison d\u2019\u00e9dition, Paraguay Press. Il travaille sur la question des relations entre art, \u00e9criture et livre, et plus particuli\u00e8rement sur les pratiques \u00e9ditoriales d\u2019artistes contemporains.
Benjamin Thorel participe r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement aux revues May (Paris) et Provence (Berlin) ; il est l\u2019auteur de Telle est la t\u00e9l\u00e9 \u2013 L\u2019art contemporain et la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision (Cercle d\u2019art, Paris, 2007), et a \u00e9dit\u00e9 des ouvrages comme Interpretation, sur le travail de l\u2019artiste Lili Reynaud Dewar (Paraguay Press, Paris & Kunsthalle Basel, B\u00e2le, 2013) et_ A Book About \u2013 What\u2019s more to life than books_ (Art Metropole, Toronto & Publication Studio, Portland, 2014).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
