In her work, Juliette Mock forges connections between desire, matter, and narrative. Her drawings and sculptures seamlessly shift the subject from one medium to another as they examine the very material they are made of. As part of Degr\u00e9s Est, the artist presents an original installation, which starts at the crotch and uses the entire exhibition space, floor to ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in 1992, Juliette Mock graduated from the ESAD in Reims and was awarded a residency at the Friche Artistique in Reims. She now lives in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Montreuil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


In addition to her exhibition at Degr\u00e9s Est, Juliette Mock will complete a research residency in the emergency department at the Sarreguemines hospital (57). Next year she will present the results of her research alongside selected works from the 49 Nord 6 Est \u2013 FRAC Lorraine collection at the Saint-Avold hospital (57).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false,"raw":"\n

\u25cf La proposition de Juliette Mock enrichit la programmation de l\u2019espace prospectif Degr\u00e9s Est, centr\u00e9 sur les artistes li\u00e9s au territoire du Grand Est. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activ\u00e9 par des propositions des trois FRAC du Grand Est, il introduit \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 des pratiques artistiques actuelles, et souligne l\u2019engagement du Frac \u00e0 faire appara\u00eetre la pluralit\u00e9 au sein de la cr\u00e9ation contemporaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juliette Mock tisse des liens entre d\u00e9sirs, mati\u00e8res et r\u00e9cits. Pour Degr\u00e9s Est, elle propose une installation in\u00e9dite, \u00e9manant d\u2019un entrejambe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 son exposition dans l\u2019espace Degr\u00e9s Est, Juliette Mock effectuera une r\u00e9sidence de recherche dans le service des urgences de l\u2019h\u00f4pital de Sarreguemines (57) dont elle pr\u00e9sentera en 2020 une restitution aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d\u2019\u0153uvres de la collection du 49 Nord 6 Est \u2013 Frac Lorraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juliette Mock, n\u00e9e en 1992 est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e de l\u2019ESAD de Reims. Elle a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019une r\u00e9sidence de deux ans dans la friche artistique de Reims. Elle vit et travaille entre Le Mesnil-sur-Oger et Montreuil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
