We become the very ink of our narratives, the makeshift shelter of our archives, the cartography of our fragile languages, the resurgence of our fleeting exiles. This exhibition is a manifesto that follows in the footsteps of the artistic avant-gardes of popular, minority and protest cultures of the 1970s. It brings together precarious forms, sensitive uprisings, and poetic words and deeds that honour our intimate and collective memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Performance <em>COMME DE L\u2019EAU<\/em> by Taysir Batniji during the opening at 7pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The performance by the artist from Gaza consists of writing the 109 Arabic words for water\u2026 using water. The work contrasts the poetic abundance of words with the real scarcity of water.
