SUBMIT A WORK FOR ACQUISITION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Proposals for acquisitions may be submitted to our committee. They must relate to works that are not already held in another French public collection and must have been created by living artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proposals for unsolicited acquisitions may be submitted by sending a dossier to Frac Lorraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u21b3 Deadline for the submission of unsolicited proposals: 1 September each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u21b3 Each gallery may exhibit works by up to three artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u21b3 It is recommended that you submit the artist\u2019s portfolio, their biography and a selection of their works.

\u21b3 There are no specific requirements regarding the submissions, but a connection to the themes covered by the collection is one of the selection criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TECHNICAL ACQUISITION COMMITTEE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Appointed by the Board of Directors for a term of three years, the Technical Committee is responsible for recommending works to the Frac Lorraine Board of Directors with a view to their acquisition. It meets once a year to decide collectively on these recommendations for works to be acquired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Technical Acquisition Committee comprises the director and four qualified figures from the contemporary art world, including at least one artist. It is assisted, in an advisory capacity, by the visual arts adviser at the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs and the project manager at the Grand Est Region\u2019s Directorate for Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROPOSER UNE \u0152UVRE \u00c0 L'ACQUISITION <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Il est possible de soumettre des propositions d'acquisition \u00e0 notre comit\u00e9. Elles doivent concerner des \u0153uvres qui ne figurent pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans une autre collection publique fran\u00e7aise et avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es par des artistes vivants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les propositions d\u2019acquisitions spontan\u00e9es peuvent \u00eatre transmises en adressant un dossier au Frac Lorraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u21b3 Fin de r\u00e9ception des dossiers de propositions spontan\u00e9es : le 1er<\/sup> septembre de chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u21b3 Chaque galerie peut proposer des \u0153uvres de 3 artistes maximum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u21b3 Il est recommand\u00e9 d'envoyer un portfolio de l'artiste, sa biographie et une s\u00e9lection d'\u0153uvres.

\u21b3 Aucune sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 n\u2019est demand\u00e9e concernant les dossiers, mais un lien avec les axes abord\u00e9s par la collection<\/a> fait partie des crit\u00e8res de s\u00e9lection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COMIT\u00c9 TECHNIQUE D'ACQUISITION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nomm\u00e9 par le conseil d'administration pour une dur\u00e9e de 3 ans, le comit\u00e9 technique est charg\u00e9 de proposer au Conseil d\u2019Administration du Frac Lorraine des \u0153uvres en vue de leur acquisition. Il se r\u00e9unit une fois par an pour d\u00e9cider coll\u00e9gialement de ces propositions d'\u0153uvres \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le comit\u00e9 technique d\u2019acquisition est compos\u00e9 de la directrice et de quatre personnalit\u00e9s artistiques qualifi\u00e9es dans le domaine de l\u2019art contemporain, dont au moins un.e artiste. Il est assist\u00e9, avec voix consultative, de la conseill\u00e8re pour les arts visuels \u00e0 la Direction R\u00e9gionale des Affaires Culturelles et de la charg\u00e9e de mission \u00e0 la direction de la culture de la R\u00e9gion Grand Est.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
