The 46 Nord 6 Est – Frac Lorraine has a rich collection of approximately 1800 works, authored by more than 460 artists or artist groups. A public or private entity (whether in France or abroad) can temporarily borrow one or more of these works in order to hold a temporary exhibition of a scientific, artistic or cultural nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loan request must be accompanied by a project description and guarantees regarding the accessibility and integrity of the works. The obligations of the borrower are described in the form below (insurance, transportation at the borrower’s expense, etc.). In line with the new guidelines pertaining to artists\u2019 pay, every borrower must commit to pay a fee to the artist whose work is borrowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requests can be sent by e-mail. In order for them to be considered, the form below must be duly completed and sent to our collections manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each month, a loan committee meets to examine the submitted requests. Requests must be sent at least five months before the loan\u2019s prospective start. A loan abroad requires additional administrative procedures \u2014 most importantly, an authorisation to leave French territory, which must be obtained from the central administration of the Ministry of Culture and Communication. This obligation imposes an additional one to two months to process such requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le 46 Nord 6 Est \u2013 Frac Lorraine dispose d\u2019une collection riche d\u2019environ 1800 \u0153uvres, issues du travail de plus de 460 artistes ou groupes d\u2019artistes. Il est possible d\u2019emprunter temporairement une ou plusieurs de ces \u0153uvres en tant que personne publique ou personne morale de droit priv\u00e9, en vue de r\u00e9aliser une exposition temporaire \u00e0 caract\u00e8re scientifique, artistique ou culturel, en France ou \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La demande de pr\u00eat devra \u00eatre accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une description du projet et devra garantir l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 ainsi que le respect de l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 des \u0153uvres. Les obligations de l\u2019emprunteur sont d\u00e9crites dans le formulaire ci-dessous (assurance des oeuvres mat\u00e9rielles, transport \u00e0 la charge de l\u2019emprunteur, etc.). En lien avec les nouvelles modalit\u00e9s de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration des artistes, tout.e emprunteur.euse s\u2019engage d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 verser un  honoraire \u00e0 l\u2019artiste dont l'\u0153uvre est emprunt\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Votre demande peut \u00eatre faite par e-mail. Afin qu\u2019elle puisse \u00eatre \u00e9tudi\u00e9e, vous y joindrez le formulaire en t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement ci-dessous, d\u00fbment compl\u00e9t\u00e9, en y joignant les informations requises, \u00e0 envoyer \u00e0 l\u2019attention de notre charg\u00e9e des collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaque mois, une commission de pr\u00eat et de d\u00e9p\u00f4t se r\u00e9unit pour examiner les demandes qui nous sont envoy\u00e9es. Celles-ci doivent \u00eatre transmises au minimum 5 mois avant le d\u00e9but du pr\u00eat. Un pr\u00eat \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger n\u00e9cessite des d\u00e9marches administratives suppl\u00e9mentaires \u2013 notamment une autorisation de sortie du territoire fran\u00e7ais, \u00e0 obtenir aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019administration centrale du minist\u00e8re de la Culture et de la Communication. Cette obligation impose un \u00e0 deux mois suppl\u00e9mentaires de traitement du dossier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
