Attention to all who enjoy the adventure of living together! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the intersection of psychology, ethology, anthropology, sociology, ethnology, and neuroscience, research on non-verbal communication and gestural language fascinate the general public as well as experts, including artists. Selma and Sofiane Ouissi surround themselves with interlocutors from very different walks of life: the deaf who adopted sign language, asylum seekers of diverse geographic origins, elderly persons speaking colorful dialects\u2026 They have no language in common and yet they have all volunteered to participate in research sessions in order to answer the crucial question: how can we understand one another outside codified languages?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selma &amp; Sofiane\u00a0Ouissi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Selma &amp; Sofiane&nbsp;OUISSI&nbsp;are choreographers, dancers, performers, video artists. Their creations have been featured at prestigious festivals: Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, the La B\u00e2tie Festival in Geneva, Triennale at the Palais de Tokyo, Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, and D\u2019Days in Paris, and at shown around the world: Liban, Germany, Egypt, Spain, Italy, the United States, the Netherlands, Great Britain\u2026<br>In 2007, they founded the association L\u2019Art Rue dedicated to the production and dissemination of contemporary art in public spaces in Tunisia. They created \u201cDream City,\u201d a multidisciplinary biennale in Medina\u2019s city center. They are today considered to be major figures in contemporary dance in the Arab world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project <em>Manufactories<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Savoir-faire and savoir-\u00eatre<\/em>, or how to successfully transmit and diffuse new creative techniques in the collective mode. This is the basis for reflection in a joint project conducted by three European institutions which consider \u201cthinking art in another way\u201d a necessity: the Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni Tapies in Barcelona, the Museum voor Schone Kunsten (MSK) in Gand, and 49 Nord 6 Est\u2013FRAC Lorraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is called: \u201cManufactories of Caring Space-Time,\u201d and its mission is to allow three multidisciplinary collectives three years to operate in and influence three territories. Avis aux aventuriers du vivre ensemble.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u00c0 la crois\u00e9e de la psychologie, de l\u2019\u00e9thologie, de l\u2019anthropologie, de la sociologie, de l\u2019ethnologie et des neurosciences, les recherches sur la communication non verbale, ou langage gestuel, passionnent le grand public comme les sp\u00e9cialistes, y compris les artistes. Selma et Sofiane Ouissi s\u2019entourent de locuteurs tr\u00e8s \u00e9loign\u00e9s a priori les uns des autres : des sourds ayant adopt\u00e9s la langue des signes, diff\u00e9rents demandeurs d\u2019asile aux origines g\u00e9ographiques diverses, des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es au patois pittoresque\u2026 Aucune langue commune et pourtant, ils sont tous volontaires pour participer \u00e0 des s\u00e9ances de recherche afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la question cruciale : comment se comprendre au del\u00e0 des langues codifi\u00e9es ?<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u25cf SELMA &amp; SOFIANE OUISSI <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Exp\u00e9rimenter, inventer, parcourir de nouvelles voies de travail avec les artistes de toutes disciplines, c\u2019est pour l\u2019institution culturelle 49 Nord 6 Est s\u2019ouvrir aux pratiques en lien avec les communaut\u00e9s locales :<br>celle d\u2019hier dont la m\u00e9moire ne tient qu\u2019\u00e0 un fil et celle d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui que l\u2019on feint d\u2019ignorer.
